The Food Tray - By Seth
These are some of the types of ice cream we have had here. They put mora on top of it. It is blackberry stuff. Dad got a sundae tonight. There was a lot of fruit in it and it had alien eggs (well at least that's what we call them; it's really maracuya - passion fruit), and he also has a lot of other fruit. There was even cheese on it!

We go to the fruit store a lot. One day I ate six bananas.
This is us at the fruit store. |
Here lunch is the biggest meal, dinner is the smallest, and breakfast is in the middle.
For breakfast we eat fruit, eggs, crackers and we drink sugar water but they call it panela, but then they changed to hot chocolate. Two days I also had ham and cheese sandwiches and the outside looked like waffles.
The orange juice in the picture is freshly squeezed from hand. |
Lots of fruit every morning |
We get a lot of soda here, but we have no pictures of it, so here is a picture of me and my brother with the same kind of juice. Actually, it is strawberry lemonade. And also, there is a lot of Coca-cola here. There is also Sprite, but we usually don't find it. There is Quatro, but they don't have that in Minnesota, probably not in the United States either.
These are our lunches. They are really big. I usually only eat rice, but my mom and dad make me eat more.
They mix juice with milk here sometimes and it is good. |
This cost me 2,000 and they are really cool candies. |
And I buy a lot of suckers here.
There are a lot of flavors of chips here. You can find them all around the town. They are different than what we have back home. There is a lime one. There are hamburger ones.
Milk comes in a bag here, and you cut open a corner and you just pour it.
Thank you for posting this awesome account of the variety of foods you and your family are eating, Seth! Looks like a nice variety of healthy and maybe not-so-healthy entrées 😂. Good balance! The differences in foods between our culture and other cultures is always fun and interesting! So glad you are all having a great time! ~Granpa & Nana-Carol
